Inked

Can you believe its February already? The year is going to fast. Before you know it, I’ll be 30 (shudder). Not looking forward to that number at all…

School has been stretching my brain which feels great. The difference between the school I’m in now vs. the one I was in before is astounding. I actually feel the creativity coming out of my fingertips and I’ve only been officially in classes for a week. I never realized how conservative my designing was becoming because of my work life. I’m looking to break out of that really fast, and the AA is definitely going to be playing a huge part in that.

In freelance world, I’ve started a website project with a guy in New Paltz that owns a tattoo shop. The site he has now is in severe (If you read this Chris, I'm sorry, but you know it’s true) need of help. I came up with some concepts for him to look at the other day and he was very happy. Even the cop that came into the shop while we were meeting thought my idea was great. I guess the NP police hang out there a lot. I wish that I had started this project earlier because I might have been able to get out of that damn mobile ticket. Now it’s on to the next stage, design and implementation. The header for this month was actually inspired by the idea of working on a project with a tattoo shop. Or, I could just be addicted to tattoo shows.

Health wise, I’m getting much better at racquet ball. I think I might even entertain the idea of playing against other people besides my friend Erin. Though, I think I'd leave out the "interpretive dance" serves that we both are so fond of doing. Its actually very comical. It started as we were trying to get more cardio out of the game and we both would jog in place while waiting to serve or hit the ball back and forth. Hey! Maybe i'm onto something.

That’s it for now. Stay tuned for more later when I’ve finished processing last nights episode of LOST.

I'm glad Alcoholics Anonymous is playing sucha huge part in your schooling. Most people downplay their AA membership. Kudos.

Perhaps I should have linked it..

We both thought Lost was mostly boring. Maybe I'm just over it.

NP police gave you ticket? Huh. That's strange. When they pulled me over, they just let me go on my merry way. Oh, that's right. You were there.

For those keeping score at home, I'm 7 for 7.
