Justice

On my way home this evening a white mini-suv whizzed past me on the thruway, going about 90mph. He was bobbing and weaving through traffic, and making a hazard of himself to all. Imagine my happiness when a few miles later, near the exit I was about to take, that zoomy little suv was snagged by a state trooper. I actually said "Snagged" out loud when I passed it.

Don't you just love it stuff like that happens?

I really like April's header. I think it might stay around a few more months.

I LOVE it when that happens (to other people and uhm, not me.) Makes me giggle in delight specially if it is someone who has been driving like an ass.. heh

I've only seen this happen once, on the thruway on the way back down from Montreal. Traffic was bumper to bumper, but everyone was moving around 60 mph, so it wasn't terrible. Suddenly, this huge Suburban with Canadian plates passes everyone at about 80 mph while driving on the dirt shoulder of the highway! I barely got out my curse before an unmarked state trooper (who had been tailing me for some reason) swung out, lights blazing, and nabbed him.

As they say in Quebec (or at least at Alta Vista Babelfish): Il est meilleur qu'il arrivent à lui plutôt qu'à moi!

I've spent a huge amount of time on the road and never seen justice like that. I did however get a ticket intended for someone else in a black car (grrrr!) since the alleged car was tracked from air on a road I wasn't even driving on....
