Meet Thomas. Thomas is a tiny little baby squirrel that is living in an exterior storage area of our house. We had noticed an increase in noises one day and come to find out, there are 4 little baby squirrels living, with their parents, in this little room. We hear them most during the day, when they chase each other around the room in their cute game of tag. This a shot of squirrel tag.

Anyway, we only named the one Thomas, because he is just as inquisitive about us as we are of him. He will climb up to the top of the pile of sheetrock and stare at you, and then just go about his merry way as if you don't matter. Look at that adorable face.

I have a soft spot for squirrels. Gilday will say they are just rats with fluffy tails. BUT, when he and I were in London walking through St. James' park, the squirrels would come right up and sit on your hand for a peanut. I was so amazed by this that when we got home from the trip I got a squirrel feeder for the tree out in our back yard (in Esopus - neighbors hated me).
Which brings me to my next
thought... I'm gonna hug you and kiss you and love you forever!

He's cute for sure...but I still don't like squirrels. They make my dogs go APESHIT. LOL There is one that lives in the redwood tree by our fence. He likes to throw things from the trees at the dogs. Dixie fuh-reaks out and stands on her back legs for hours trying to climb the tree. Oy vey..wears me out it does!
