First, My husband is awesome. Why? Because he got us tickets to see my all time favorite band at Madison Square Garden. I’m psyched. Gilday, you just extended your contract by a few more years. Thanks babe!
On the grad school front, my photo class just wrapped up with a research paper and one more calligraphy project to do tonight and I’m done. Next is registering for the fall semester, but I have a few weeks leeway on that. Would you believe I’m back on the fence about my concentration?
Things are slowing down to a normal pace at work, so I’ll have some time to do un-work related things like blogging, website redesign and resume my plans for taking over the world (reminder: find and purchase Space Titanium).
I’m getting very excited about our upcoming trip to CA. I can’t wait to hang out with our friends in Monterey, sip some wine on the Napa wine trail, do some hiking and kayaking, and drive around in that cool ass convertible… With that good ol’ GW stimulus check picking up the tab, we might be able to take another vacation this year! Maybe we'll get to europe this year after all.
My new travel companion showed up on my doorstep today. I can't wait to get it filled with all my equipment. It took me some time to find the right one, but with ample research and many a great reviews, I went ahead and bought it. I had a guilty feeling when I purchased it because I normally wouldn't spend that much on a backpack. But, besides my husband and my dogs, my Mac and my DSLR are on the top of my love list. Must keep them safe and comfy on our life's future journeys.
I was pleasantly surprised that a new Teen Girl Squad appeared on my iGoogle the other day. (i've got homestar as one of my windows). I loves me some TGS. I still have the urge to sing “Its Valentime's! It's Valentimes” when someone asks me “What time is it?”. But that's just me. I'm unstable.
What else? Oh, I went through today thinking it was Thursday. Crap.

I saw REM at Madison Square Garden in ... let's see... maybe 1994? We were in the next to last row of seats in the whole place and we almost got killed on the subway ride home.
Still, good times!
