That's soo Montauk.

What a great weekend!

Our friend Ryan was taking a break last week from his glamorous life in L.A. (you know, working in the porn industry). In order to rescue him from a week filled with Tator Tots (made with love from his Mom) we convinced him to come over for a nice barbecue dinner on Friday night. It was good to see him relaxed and just chillin’. We even managed to get him to play some rock band on the PS3. The drums weren’t his friend at all, but he did rock the mic’ and guitar! We might have convinced him to buy it for the Wii.

Saturday we met up with Paul at a theatre in Danbury to see WALL-E. I heard that it was great but it truly exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend it to all. I think I might want to see it again…

After the movie, we went over to Candlewood Lake to visit with our friend Rob. The parks department was having a fireworks celebration for the 4th, so he decided to combine that with a festive BBQ at his apartment. His apartment is just a stones throw away from the beach where they were being held that night, so all we had to do was walk a few yards to see them. We met a lot of his crew from L.I., I did some networking with a A.D from Wilton, and also watched a lot of flip-cup and beer pong. I’ve never played either game so it was fun to watch all the action from my designated driver sidelines. Good times.

Because if the spotty rain showers and thunderstorms yesterday Gilday and I relaxed at home and got caught up on our neglected netflix cue. It was nice to recharge and hang out with the dogs all day.

This coming week should be interesting, as I’m participating in an elimination diet to determine if I’m allergic to certain foods. I’ll be avoiding caffeine, dairy (which I mostly do anyway), wheat, sugar, alcohol, and citrus for seven days, and then gradually reintroducing them back into my system. I’m ok with the thought of going without wheat and sugars for right now, but the lack of caffeine is going to be rough. I’m not even supposed to drink de-caffeinated teas. The headache I know I’m going to have in the next few days from the missing my morning earl grey is going to suck. Oh, and did I mention alcohol? It’s a great thing I’m doing this right into a holiday weekend! It’s going to be tough, but to help my spirits along my Husband is going to do the diet along with me. Isn’t he the best! I loves me some Gilday!

Now, the question is… since I was supposed to have my normal diet until this afternoon for my blood test, do I start tonight or should I wait for tomorrow morning’s breakfast?

Do you have some home videos of Ryan singing? I'd LOVE to see that.
