Did I mention that we're getting new couches. A love seat and couch actually. I so can not wait. I've had the set we've been using since 2001, which I bought for my first apartment. May I add, that they should have been retired when we sold our house on 210 Green.

Anyway, its a few weeks away before they get delivered. In an ideal world, they would have moved in to one of the many houses we have tried to purchase within the last 8 months. But, since that doesn't seem to want to happen for us right now, they will still look amazing in our little rented house in the country for now.

With next semesters master classes just a blink away (Gilday taking 3 MBA classes and my 2 while both working full time) we've decided to hang tight in Gardiner for now. I'm hoping that I can find us some land to start excavating so we can build something that can be off the grid in the spring. Geothermal, on demand hot water heater and solar shingles for the roof, it's so exciting. But, I'll keep you posted on that as there will be lots of fact finding missions.

For now, the countdown continues... new couches...
