In the past, Gilday and I used to host an annual Friends Thanksgiving where friends from all over would converge at our house and we would all share in the bounty of friendship and food. Before we all would eat, we'd go around the table and everyone would say what they were thankful for. Most were heartfelt and honest, and some were out for the funny. Good times.
Having a small apartment, its really difficult to host large sit down gatherings right now, but I assure you, as soon as we rectify that with a larger place, we'll be starting up that tradition again. So for now, I'll be typing what I'm thankful for this year.
First, I am thankful for Gilday. He makes every day an adventure and I couldn't do this thing called life without him. Second, I'm thankful for all my friends who patiently deal with the fact that I have less time for them right because I'm in grad school. I'm also thankful that I have a home to live in, new tires, 2 dogs to cuddle with, and a job that pays for it. Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm also thankful for you!
