Riley has discovered the pear tree in our yard. This afternoon when she was out and about with Gilday she happened upon a ripe one that had fallen on the ground. Originally we thought she was just going to play with it for a bit and be done with it. This was not the case. She carried the pear around with her for about 15 minutes like it was a trophy and then somewhere along the way she discovered that it was tasty! We now have a slight problem on our hands because our silly dog loves these fallen pears! I think Gilday and I took about 10 over ripe pears out of her mouth in the course of 5 minutes. I guess we should be happy. At least she doesn't eat poop or kill people.
