Huh.

A few years ago, Gilday and I were into a great show on the BBC titled "ed vs spencer". It was on BBC on-demand, and we couldn't get enough of it. There were great silly episodes like who can get the sickest, who can get the most women to fancy him, spend the night in the woods, or who could make the best porn film. We loved the crazy way that Ed would always try to sabotage Spencer, and it was always the dirtiest things possible. Unfortunately they only filmed one season.

Today I was on Comedy Central's website and stumbled upon this. Same premise, same logos, mostly the same names. For some reason, it really annoyed me. Like every other show that originated in the UK, the good old TV executives in US of A, decided to pick this one up as well.

What are you going to do. Those damn brits are just so damn creative. Gilday, when are we moving?

I'm a HUGE fan of the BBC's show "The IT Crowd" which is currently being developed for an American version a la "The Office". While I'm psyched at the idea of more episodes of theis great show, I'm terrified at the idea of everything getting dumbed down.
