are you sure you want to?

6 things you don't know about me. Some are light and fluffy, others not so much.

1. I am addicted to Q-tips. I find the act of cleaning my ears to therapeutic and meditative. When i see one, I have to pick one up and clean my ears. It's an unstoppable compulsion.

2. I once hit a guy over the head with a tree branch and gave him a concussion. It was when I was 8, and I had a cousin who used to tickle me whenever he saw me. One day we were playing tag or something and as I was running to base, I tripped (of course) and he saw his opening. I, who had enough of the tickling for that day, saw the branch sticking out of a wood pile, reached for it, and as he was just about to get me, whipped that branch right against the side of his head. Down he fell. I did feel terrible about and ran for my aunt to tell her what I did. He had to get stitches. The cool thing was she told me in the emergency room that he had it coming.

3. I love cars. Cars are my thing. It's one of the things I need to know about a person when I meet them. Another compulsive habit.

4. I tried to use lemon on my skin to get rid of my freckles as a little girl.

5. After my Dad passed away, I drank liquor every night for about a year and a half. I was worried that I was an alcoholic because I couldn't seem to stop myself. I used alcohol as a crutch to forget about my father's death at night, because during the day I thought I had to be strong for my family, and I was too proud to lean on others. Yes, I know I was an idiot.

6. I love to tile floors. It's the most fun and rewarding part of home remolding.
