It's solid yo.

One of the things about attending College online, instead of in a classroom is class participation. Online, you have to comment on others students work, and then participate in a weekly discussion topic that is chosen by the professor. One of the things about attending a College online in California is that you have that pesky time difference to deal with in which I'm 3 hours ahead.

You wouldn't think that would be a big deal, but, keep in mind, I go to art school. A very liberal and creative art school. By that very nature I am surrounded by slackers and procrastinators most of which who wait until the last minute to upload their work or comment on the ongoing topic. And 85% are living in CA so they just wait and wait and wait to post, which leaves me holding the bag because I have to stay up until, sometimes 2:3o in the morning to get my required class participation in. Don't get me wrong, I'm the best procrastinator out of the bunch, but when your paying top dollar to get your MFA, it sort of prioritizes things a bit.

So, as you may have deducted, this pisses me off to no end. I'm pulling solid A's in my classes and still, this might do me in. Yeah, I've talked to my advisor and my professor about it. Unfortunately, it's up the professor to change due dates and such and since the semester is almost over, there isn't much that can be done.

Oh well. Life goes on. Things could be worse.
