I'm having a hard time getting back into the homework schedule after taking a few holiday related days off this weekend. I have 2 assignments due tomorrow night and I just don't have the willpower to finish them. I keep finding myself occupying myself with something else. Its like I have ADD or something. So far today I've made a hearty breakfast, washed the dishes, made fresh beer bread, and made a pasta sauce from scratch. Right now I'm refreshing my amazon wishlist for the holiday, and in a minute I'll be prepping my famous chicken parmesan for dinner. Any homework mentioned in there? Nope. I'll probably email them to the office and work on them tomorrow, so I can keep grad work avoidance following through the weekend. Oh how I can't wait until the 20th.
This weekend actually was pretty emotionally draining for me. I'm not really interested in writing about it all for the world to read. In a nutshell, I need to come to terms with the fact that people are going to live their own lives, and it doesn't necessarily have to be the way I would live it. I just need to accept it, move on and put the focus on myself and improving my own situation.
And what's great for improving your situation? A new TV! Our current one has developed a red streak going vertically down the left side, and we've been waiting patiently for the great holiday sales to replace it. We've been stalking the Sony Bravia for a while now, and it's finally hit a price point we can handle. Gilday ordered it this morning, and it should be delivered by the end of the week. I'm pretty excited to be able to watch the Office in HD and switch the netflix over to blueray.
On a lighter note, today is the last day of NaBloPoMo. I might try and keep up the posting for a while, but I doubt it. I think a post every two or three days is just the right amount for me. But because I just realized I forgot a topic suggested by a reader, tomorrow's post will be all about Beagles, and why I hate them so. Peace Out NaBloPoMo, and see you next year.

So I've been demoted to "reader"? I see how it is.
Congrats on the TV!
Ps. Beagles are cute.
Melissa, I think you're my ONLY reader. LOL...
Actually, according to my Analytics, I've got a pretty nicely sized audience. They are just shy. Your site is my Top Referring Site each day.
TV gets delivered on Friday. I'm so excited.
P.S. Beagles may look cute as puppies, but its a whole different ballgame when they are grown. More to follow. ;)
