Duldrums

It's a rainy day here in the Hudson Valley. The sky is grey and overcast, and the rain is pounding on the windows of my office building and there is a slight fog forming around the trees. For me, these weather conditions tend to bring about the duldrums. But I have a tried and true cure for it! Mmmm... Thinking about it just makes me content. The best hands-down cure for the rainy day blues is a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Yum.

But beware. There are rules to this combination. It is very important that the grilled cheese be on white bread with yellow american cheese, and the soup has to be Campbells Chicken Noodle. No Chicken & Stars or Homestyle Chicken Noodle need apply here. Basic is definately best.

It also helps if you have the Ultimate Grilled Cheese Maker. Somehow it just tastes tons better if you have it. Mine is usually available for rent by the hour if anyone is interested.
